5 Ways to Promote Your Brand for the Holidays!

5 Ways to Promote Your Brand for the Holidays!

The holiday season is upon us and as a small business, this time of the year “presents” itself with the opportunity to effectively market your brand!

Today we are acting as Santa’s helper and delivering you these five helpful holiday marketing tips!

  1. Give back – One way to market your company is to participate in a holiday charity event of your choice and get your customers involved in the effort, too. Don’t forget to post updates to your social media channels that showcase your community involvement. This will show customers and potential customers that you support and care for those in need who live in your local community.
  1. New Year, new you – As the New Year quickly approaches, take the time to create marketing collateral, whether it’s an infographic, or a downloadable resource tool such as a year-end industry report that provides your company’s spin on the topic. Sharing this type of information with your customers will show your audience that you’re an expert in your industry and are working to better serve your customer base.
  1. Selling success – If you’re a retailer, the holidays are the perfect playground to promote your brand and your products.  Create offers that will make it hard for your customers to pass up. Also, consider using creative coupon codes to go along with your deals. During the holiday season, people are constantly looking for the best deals at a reasonable price and this is your opportunity to help your customers fulfill their wish list!
  1. You’ve got mail – Implementing an email campaign around the holiday season is a great way to remain in contact with existing customers. However, it’s important to remember that an effective email marketing campaign around the holidays should include the following:
  • Be short and sweet – Link directly to the content of interest (discounts, new products etc.)
  • Get creative – The imagery that you use in your email campaign should be eye catching and reflect the season at hand.
  • Be specific – The subject line of your email should clearly articulate the focus of your email.
  • Follow the rules – Online marketing is regulated so it’s imperative that you brush up on your government guidelines that apply to list management. Getting in trouble with the authorities would make the holidays not-so-merry or bright!
  1. Promote – Last but certainly not least, whether it’s a discount, a new product or your company simply wants to get in the holiday spirit, marketing during the holidays is a great way to promote your brand to existing customers and potential customers as well! A large presence on social media as well as through tastefully-constructed email campaigns will help spread your holiday cheer to your target audience.
