3 Pinterest Tips for Your Product Launch!

3 Pinterest Tips for Your Product Launch!

So you have a new product, and you want to prepare a launch on Pinterest? Good start. As we all know, Pinterest is a media-heavy social media platform that has over 110 million active monthly users.
Let’s not waste another second. Here are three ways to use Pinterest for your product launch.
1. Get connected.
Pinterest is a great platform for you to engage with our people in your niche and your target audience who would be interested in your product. Find ways to connect with other Pinterest users. You can connect to your audience by pinning their pins, commenting on their content or following their boards. Social media is all about engagement, and this is true for Pinterest too. Once you’ve formed a relationship with other users, consider asking about possible guest blogging opportunities to expand your brand awareness.
2. Pay attention.
Put on your listening eyes because you’ll want to be tuned into what’s going on in your niche’s world. Check Pinterest to see what’s piquing the interest of your audience. What type of content are they engaging with and responding to best? Another sound piece of advice is to click on the “Popular” link in the Pinterest homepage to see what’s trending. Keep your eyes peeled for any opportunity that you can to engage and refine your approach.
3. Promote.
You want to provide value to your audience in everything that you do. When promoting a product launch on Pinterest, you don’t want to inundate your followers with picture after picture of your new product. What you do want to do is set the stage ahead of time. Share lots of pre-launch content. Pre-launch content includes blog posts, teaser imagery of the launched product, pictures of meetings, news, events, etc.

In short, use Pinterest as a means to promote you, your brand and your products and the rest will follow suit.
